Our shared mission is to provide the Alaska wilderness lodge experience our guests desire.
We understand our guests are on vacation and want to relax and enjoy themselves. Some want to catch many fish, to others this is not as important. Everyone seems to enjoy the abundant wildlife and the relative isolation tranquility of the river. Our time on the river is designed to spend the time doing what the guests want to do.
Our heritage and culture is first that of a traditional fishing camp, but we understand our guests want a certain level of proficiency in the supporting hotel and restaurant functions. The large majority of our guests tell us they are not looking for a five star lodging and dining experience, but they do want the lodge to be clean and comfortable. They want lots of good food consistently prepared well.
We try to handle your reservation process from start to finish so there is a minimum of guest anxiety. We seek out and act on guest desires in multiple ways. We listen carefully to the input from the guests and implement many of the suggestions we receive.
The Guest sets the schedule.
We allow our guests to set the length of their stays and their dates of arrival and departure. The first guests to make their reservations have the greatest flexibility.
The guests can choose to fish two of the three daily sessions. The morning session runs from 7 AM to 12 AM. The afternoon from 1PM to 6PM and evening from 7:15 to 10:30PM. The session includes time for the guide to clean retained fish.
Our guests like the inclusion of all services in the basic package which covers everything from your scheduled arrival at King Salmon airport until the time they depart from the King Salmon airport. Excluded from the package are your fishing license, fly outs, staff tips and adult beverages. We do offer the option of prepaying tips by including them in the package price.
